The Ice maker is among the most efficient we've ever tested and produces pyramid-shaped ice that is low in water usage. This fridge is perfect for a single family or a kitchenette that wants an elegant design and top of the line food preservation.

This refrigerator was rated as the most efficient in our Refrigerators Test due to a variety of reasons. The freezer temperatures remained steady at just a few degrees Fahrenheit, never fluctuating more than a fraction of a degree--this is key to avoiding freezing burn. The fridge section of the refrigerator also did well. It reached the initial temperature within a matter of hours, and remained at that temperature throughout our testing.

The top shelf on the right can be folded down to give tall items more space. There's also a full-width drawer for deli and an inside water dispenser.

The refrigerator comes with an ice maker making it easy to transfer the frozen ice whenever you need it. The freezer also features thoughtful design features, like sliding drawers that allow you to sort your things. It also has a large container for storing frozen food and a separate bin for ice.

Another cool feature of this refrigerator is its Smart InstaView panel. It lets you manage the refrigerator's temperature and lighting from your smartphone. It's a nice way to monitor and manage your refrigerator, particularly if you're away from home.

Its capacity is higher than average for a counter-depth model and it cools well and has a nice layout. It's also a little less than the best counter depth refrigerator that comes with an icemaker, which makes it a desirable choice.

Another great feature is the "Chill Drawer" that sits above the two crisper bins. This drawer lets you redirect part of the fridge's cooling power directly to this area, meaning you can put away food items that require special attention. You can adjust this feature by using the slider located on the in the middle of the drawer. It is also possible to use this to set a general cooling setting for the entire fridge but I've noticed that adjusting the generic settings tends to produce better results than specific ones.

During my experiments, I noticed that the temperatures of the refrigerator were fairly consistent in different areas of the refrigerator. The temperatures in the top, bottom and middle of the refrigerator didn't vary significantly from 38 degrees. This is a great performance but does not quite make it to the top of our rankings.

This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. You can also pair this fridge with a smart thermometer to get more precise measurements of the internal temperature of your fridge.
